Benjamin Campbell
Benjamin has a general civil practice. He has interests in commercial and corporations, property, bankruptcy and insolvency, class actions, public law including merits and judicial review, disciplinary, insurance, and personal injury matters. He has advised and acted on behalf of individuals, public and private corporations, State and Federal Government agencies, and group members in representative proceedings.
Benjamin regularly appears as an advocate in State and Commonwealth Courts and Tribunals, including recent trials unled before the Supreme Court of Queensland and Administrative Review Tribunal.
Before going to the bar, Benjamin practised as a solicitor at MinterEllison in Disputes, Competition and Insurance, and at a national mid-tier firm in Commercial Litigation.
He also worked as a Judge’s Associate in the District Court of Queensland and the Federal Court of Australia.
Benjamin is bilingual and speaks fluent French. He obtained his formal C2 (DALF) qualifications in 2015, and accepts briefs where that level of fluency is required.
